Let me start by writing that – this is my first blog post. This blog will be mainly focused on my experiences and thoughts about living in US and more specifically in Southern California. I am a middle aged father of two young kids living in Southern California. I work as a middle level manager for a very reputed company. But this blog is not about my work as I love my job and don’t want to risk the job. This will be a blog about middle class suburban living in southern California and my experiences about it. Now what is so special about that. Anyone living in Southern California could do that. The reason this blog is unique is that it is from the perspective of a person who was born and brought up in India and across multiple cities in India and who till date feels like an outsider in this society even though I have been living in the US for the last 10 years.
In all my readings on the net and in print I have felt that there is a point of view which talks directly to me or to which I agree with wholeheartedly. So in this blog I will attempt to give my point of view on things in general. My hope is that whoever reads this blog is able to take something useful from it.
